I finished reading Exit Strategy, by Kelley Armstrong yesterday. It was ok. I haven't been to interested in reading anything recently. I just kind of read it to have something to do. Next I should get started on reading some of my Christmas presents. Maybe the Dan Brown novel my mom bought me.
I've been listening to quite a lot of Kpop recently. I really can't help it. Kpop reminds me of the music business in the 80s/90s, when anyone with a good song could be heard on the radio. Korea is a music factory, the way they put groups together, but I love the outcome. Currently I am completely enraptured with SHINee, Big Bang and Epik High. Well, Epik High I've listened to for quite a bit of time already. But the first two are recent addition

If anyone is interested, here are my two favourite SHINee songs:

The link above is for the song A.Mi.Go. "'A.Mi.Go" is a shortened version of the Korean phrase "Areumdaun Minyeorueljoahamyeon Gosaenghanda' (아름다운 미녀를 좋아하면 고생한다 lit. Heart Aches When You Fall In Love With a Beauty)" This was the song I originally heard by SHINee.
The link below is for the song 누난 너무 예뻐 (Replay) (Boom track). It stands for "Noona, you're so pretty.") Noona is a term of respect that Korean guys use to refer to a girl who is older than them. It mean older sister, but the person does not have to be related to them for them to use it. Korea is all about these terms of respect.
If you are a girl, you would call an older guy Oppa and an older girl Unni.
If you are a guy, you would call and older guy Hyung and an older girl Noona.
Both the guy and girl version mean older brother and older sister.
Anyway's here the link:

As you can see, I am quite fascinated with the Korean culture. I think people use languages as too much of a barrier. I don't need to know or understand Korean to enjoy the music. They've got interesting beats, and as you can see in the case above, you can figure out what a song is about.
That is all for now. Need to go explore some more music. 안녕히계세요 : (annyeonghi gyeseyo)
