So I went to the Toronto FC game on Tuesday, as I posted earlier. I am not a big fan of soccer, even during World Cups or Euro Cups I can barely pay attention. But I found myself joining the rowdy fan crowd VERY easily. I completely joined in the yelling, clapping, stomping of feet that I was a little surprised myself. Despite the tie, I thoroughly enjoyed the game and hope to see another one very soon.
So I managed to get a co-op job after my first interview. I am excited to be starting at a new place, the only downside is that I get no vacation time. I ending school on Aug 15th and I start the job on Aug 18th. And my wish to spend Christmas and New Years in Korea is not going to happen either because I will be working straight through to January 9th and school starts on the 12th. Oh well, more money for me I guess.
Reading has been slow for me this week. I've been very tired but insomniatic so mostly tossing and turning. I'm continuing with Kushiel's Scion. It's getting good and I'm about halfway in or halfway through, depending on whether you're an opitimist or a pessimist.
School is starting to scare me a little bit. I won't lie, I've been slacking. It's hard to do school in the summer. All I want to do is hang out with my friends and do everything that isn't school related.
Wednesday N and I had our traditional/weekly lunch, this time we went to Rosewood. It was nice to have a bit of a change. The food was delish! I vaguely recalled that I had to work that evening so thankfully I was not late. I worked Thursday as well and last night I went out with A to Milestone's for some bellini's and then we went back to her place to talk. I'm not a cat person but her cat is personable. He's like a dog, wanting to have his belly rubbed, etc. I loved him.
That's all for now. Today will be all about me doing school work and working in some reading every once in awhile. Cheers.
